Join John Michelotti from Catskill Fungi and Cheryl Boiko owner of Remedies Herb Shop in Brooklyn and Woodstock for a foraging walk and tincture making workshop, up in the beautiful Catskill Mountains! John will share his endless enthusiasm and expertise of the fungal world as we explore the woods and in the afternoon he will take us through the process of making a mushroom tincture for you to take home. As we wander, Cheryl will guide you on the local medicinal plants growing in the region and you'll have an opportunity to gather your own herbs to make and take home 2 handcrafted herbal tinctures.

10am-12:30 Mushroom/Herb Walk

12:30-1:30pm Lunch- Bring your own lunch to enjoy beside a lovely spring-fed pond.

1:30pm-3pm Plant & Mushroom Tincture Making Workshop: Make and take home your own fungi and plant tincture. 

Schedule is flexible for the needs of the group. 

Remedies Herb  items and Catskill Fungi mushroom extracts, mushroom-related books, t-shirts, and local mushroom art will be available for purchase. 

Come prepared with your mushroom questions!  Dress for the weather.
